John Nugent joined Callaway Partners in June 2007. He is responsible for overseeing business development in the Southwest, primarily Texas, and will be based out of McKinney, Texas.

John Nugent is a former Fortune 10 subsidiary CEO with extensive experience in executive management, M&A, auditing, accounting, finance, and MIS functions within the technology, engineering, manufacturing, and financial industry segments for 20+ years. He is a widely published and highly sought after national speaker. John has particular expertise in strategic management, financial management and systems, P&L responsibility, M&A and due diligence, GAAP accounting, auditing, forensic accounting, SOX, internal controls, process design, technology review and implementations, IT, Information Assurance and business modeling.

John is a CPA, CFE, CISM, and FCPA. He graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and went on to obtain a Master of Science/Accounting degree from Southeastern University in Washington, DC. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the Business School Lausanne, Switzerland.
