Robinson College of Business Partners with Area Firms to
Demystify Sarbanes-Oxley Act

Two-Day Seminar to Focus on Internal Control Requirements

ATLANTA, GA - July 21, 2003 - The Sarbanes-Oxley Act has been referred to as the most sweeping legislation affecting accounting, disclosure and corporate governance in history. Its aim is to improve investor confidence -- but what are the managerial implications and how will the new push toward corporate responsibility affect overall management strategy?

In an effort to help business leaders navigate the President's new Corporate Reform Agenda, the Robinson College of Business has partnered with area firms to create a two-day seminar specifically geared towards educating CFO?s, controllers and auditors on the new internal control guidelines as defined by Section 404 within the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

In addition to faculty from Robinson?s School of Accountancy, speakers and instructors will
include representatives from the SEC, the Auditing Standards Board and the legal and accounting industries.
